RSBreth Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I know they are drawing Taney down to do work on the dam early this next week - anyone seen how the flow is looking and anyone fishing? I may head down there tomorrow morning.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I don't get down there much now, not since they flooded all the areas I could walk and fly fish. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
vonreed Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I haven't been down there to see the water. Do you know how low they are gonna get it under normal? And what days are supposed to be lower?
Members Luke918 Posted November 3, 2013 Members Posted November 3, 2013 Haven't really noticed any change in water level of Bull Shoals other than the rain we got... When I was out the other day fishing up by the dam there was no water flowing at all. Think 5 Nov is when work scheduled to be done -- read that on the Upper Taneycomo link on here -- they had corps announcement link posted.
RSBreth Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 I thought they might let some out of Bull Shoals with dumping the extra from Taney - wishful thinking I suppose.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 There isn't any level control on the top side in BS as far as I can tell. As long as it has flood control room it's all good with the COE. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
