Members Wornica Posted November 30, 2013 Members Posted November 30, 2013 First time this year to fish during the Catch and Release season, and no crowds on Black Friday! It was quiet (very few anglers) and great fishing. Everyone was catching fish and bragging about being on the stream instead of in a shopping mall. I caught around 15 fish all together, starting around 10:30 am in zone 2 on a rusty midge, ruby midge, primrose and pearl midge, orange soft hackle and a chamois san juan worm. Readings Fly shop recommended that I go in the afternoon to zone 1 along side of the island above the dam for some dry fly action. Around 2 pm I took their advice and used a blue olive dun or a creme mayfly imitation and it was awesome. Some other anglers did even better using the Renegade.
