I've got a pair of Simms Lightweights that were not too pricey. My wife bought them for me but I think they were about $200. I would stay away from the BPS breathables - I went through 2 pair in 2 years. I decided it would be more economical in the long run to pay more up front.

Just remember that Orvis dosen't make there own waders. They are made for them. Not sure who is making them for them Nowe?

I have been using Dan Bailey's waders and they are making there own now and are very good waders in my book. I have had mine for two seaswon now and they do not leak at all. I also have a set of there hippers and the same with them "No Leaks" ;)

They have the same type of guarantee as Simms or any of the better wasers so you won't get shafted.

You might give them a try. Ron

The Simm's are definately the best! I live in my waders and I find them to be the most comfortable of any I have ever tried.

John you mightr want to take a look at Baileys waders. I took a good look at there new guide zipper waders today. Right along with the Simm's they have both of them in stock. The new Bailey's zipper guide waders are sure right up there with Simm's and about 250 cheaper to. The Simms with the zipper has the zipper exposed the Baileys does not. It has a cover over the zipper making them look much nicer. I will just say I was very impressed with the Bailey's waders and the guarantee is just as good. ;) Ron

I will take a look. It will take a lot of convincing for me to change. I have been in Simms for many years.
