johndarin Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I got out this morning and fished for maybe 2 hours from 7am till about 9am. I think there were about 2 generators running at that time. Put the boat in at Cooper Creek and ran up to the bottom of Lookout Island. The first drift from there to the Narrows I threw a white articulated Boogie Man on my 8wt with 350 grain sink tip line, which I usually get a couple fish on, but got nothing not even a strike. Streamer fishing here on Taney is not the best but it is still fun and I usually will catch at least 1 brown when I do it. Ran back up a threw an egg (Miracle Fly) on 6x Fluoroflex under a Palsa. I just hit the seams where the fast and slow water meet and caught a couple doing that. I would look for the fish that were midging and the cast right were they came up. The fish were between 12 and 14 inches and all rainbows that I caught. Pic is the Miracle Fly. Darin Schildknecht Pro Staff - Lilleys' Landing Resort & Marina Lake Taneycomo, Branson, Missouri
