A few years ago some of you may remember a fly called the Pole Dancer. I will never forget watching the video introducing this crazy-awesome topwater fly.....THE answer to the Zara Spook for fly fisherman. With this kind of funky head that was shaped like nothing you could by (at the time) I thought they would release the head for the fly tying masses, but it never happened. When the Pole Dancer hit the market (released by Umpqua) it rang it at a staggering $19.00 PER FLY.....for the SMALLEST VERSION, and $25.00 for the larger. Crazy.

Fast-Forward about a year and Cascade Crest releases a kit called the "DC Dodger Kit". Everything you need to tie 6 or 8 Pole Dancers (except they had to change the name, obviously) for $15.00.

There are some steps involved with this......fair warning.

Really enjoy watching someone who know's his way around a vise work.Watched Dave Whitlock tie one afternoon for a while when he was still with BPS. You appear to be in his class at the vise.
