ozarkgunner Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Nothing to see there.... Move along. Don't even think about a smoke swimming minnow or slider in pearl up past point 15. Nothing but paddlefish and carp up that way.... Angler At Law
Jason Essary Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Lewis. Honesty yes there is a white run in aunts. Its really speratic. They can show and be gone in half a day. But if you get some good running water in the spring about 55 degrees they will head up it. And if its dingy I have caught them as shallow as 2 feet way in the backs. But as I said they are gone the next day. Essary Construction - Honest work for honest price Custom Construction and Remodeling Call for free quotes (417)338-6418 http://essarycustomhomes.com/

wdberkley Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Lewis, we had a couple awesome nights in early April catching whites on Spooks @ the point in front of Crest Lodge 2-3 years ago at dusk. You'd pull up to the point, wait for a fish to boil, toss a Spook at the spot, twitch 'er once or twice and hold on. It lasted two nights - they were chasing shad - and then it was all over. But for those 2 nights we ate our fair share of whites. Haven't run into them stacked up like that since.
