John and I visited "LILLEY'S" the week of Jan 20 to 24. the weather ranged from 60 on Monday to -2 on Thursday. We had enough cloths for the cold, but your face and bare fingers in 30 to 35 mile an hour wind and a minus wind chill, made it difficult to stay out more than a couple of hours at a time. Despite the weather we still managed to catch fish every day,

including a small bass and a little crappie.

All the fish were small. We even caught 3 browns about 13" to 14" long. all the fish were caught on either a "Cleo" or a

no# 7 countdown Rapala silver and black. At least one generator running made for better fishing.

We didn't bring any fish home, but that doesn't mean we didn't have a great time, thanks to all the great people and

friendly service at "LILLEY'S.

Looking forward to coming back- - -hopefully in warmer weather.

THANKS to EVERYONE

glad to hear you had a nice trip. The great thing about Taney is that the water temperature keeps the fish active hot or cold.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
