Members BassHunter132 Posted January 27, 2014 Members Posted January 27, 2014 Heading to the blue ribbon section next weekend. Just looking for advice on flies that have been working lately. Any help would be much appreciated.
Members BassHunter132 Posted February 2, 2014 Author Members Posted February 2, 2014 Well had an awesome day on the water today minus the rain. Started at Tan Vat around 7:30 and caught these four before the rain started. Then caught probably 12 more rainbows. Hot flies were midges and soft hackles. There were hatches almost all day long despite the rain. Wish I could have gotten more pictures but didn't want to get my phone out in the rain. Moved just below the park cable at about 1:00 and caught another 7 or 8 rainbows that were all decent size. All in all a pretty good day, definetley worthy of the 2 hour drive.
podum Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Very jealous. Iced in at Kansas City. Cabin fever working me over. These pics helped. I wish I had more time more than I wish I had more money.
BruteFish83 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Always worth the drive. Sounds like an excellent day. http://www.youtube.com/user/BruteFish83/videos

Geoff Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Nice!!! I need to focus on that stretch of river more this year. "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."
