Members Get_Tha_Net Posted March 4, 2014 Members Posted March 4, 2014 After my grandfather passed away I was given the largemouth bass that he had mounted. It's in need of being restored. Does anyone have some suggestions of a taxidermist in the area that does restoration?
zarraspook Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 The wife had mine ( 10.5lbs-Florida 1974 ) redone at the Bass Pro Shop Taxidermy, in Springfield. It came back looking better than new.. I know it wasn't cheap because she would not tell me what it cost !!!!! "Look up OPTIMIST in the dictionary - there is a picture of a fishing boat being launched"
Members marknsaw Posted March 5, 2014 Members Posted March 5, 2014 You can try here. http://www.busens-school-of-taxidermy.com/ He's local... don't know what kind of work he does or what the pricing is. I work with his wife and they seem like good people.
sfiser Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Karens Taxidermy. She has done a few fish for me in the past and they look amazing. she has won several awards for her work and does an amazing job. her shop is out in the woods near war eagle mill but her work is worth the drive. Super nice lady as well 479-925-1231 is her number and i believe her website is karenstaxidermy.com
