Has anyone been doing any good on fellows? I've had a couple good trips recently. Caught 30-40 whites a couple weeks ago and had another good walleye trip here lately. Just wondering what everyone else is doing?

Do you mind a few nosey questions???? I didn't even know they had whites and walleye in fellows.....what type of water and what type of lures?

There is a good population of whites and a good population of nice walleye in that little lake.Sorry it took me so long to respond, I almost forgot I posted this topic. I've been finding whites chasing balls of shad in about 50-60 feet. I usually vertical jig spoons for them right on the bottom. A 3/4 oz silver or white spoon to mimik shad. One thing to remember if you start catching fish that deep is to be sure and look for their air bladder in their throats. If its blown up, gently puncture it with a hook if you're going to release them. People will argue that's not the proper way but I've released hundreds that way and haven't had one die yet that i know of. If you can find shad balls, and start catching whites, you'll catch walleye too mixed in. I had a good stringer of 5 walleye last month that probably weighed close to 20lbs. Also, any day that's overcast and has a stiff north wind, fish the banks that the wind is pounding with a jerkbait or a rig and you WILL catch some bigger walleye and the occasional BIG Muskie. I'm going up there tomorrow morning for a few hours and hopefully will have something to report on tomorrow afternoon. Let me know if I can help you with anymore little tips.
