BFTMASTER Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Hit watts around 3;30 yesterday. Water was off and very thin and very clear. Saw lots of fish, and had to try many different things to get them going. Ended up finding a pattern with swimming white jigs across the flats fairly fast. This method produced some really nice rainbows to 15". I think the nicer fish remember the shad kill from a couple weeks ago. Fly fishers should try stripping white wooly buggers. Picked up lots of trash. Please do the same. What ever might be near you, pick it up. Maybe if people see people picking up trash, it might trigger something.
BFTMASTER Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 Did not go this weekend but a friend texted some pics of 18"-20" Stripers caught at Watts.
