12/15 for not much

I couldn't stand it and had to get the boat out for one more trip before Christmas. Fished from Forsythe to Branson for not much. The fish I found by Forsythe had moved and I forgot my trout rods so the Branson area didn't produce much for me. My partner picked up a rainbow on a crawler and had a good fish follow a jerkbait. We hit the gold mine area for a small bass and a missed bite or two. The docks below Rockaway gave up a couple of missed bites for me and another bass for my partner. One more follower on the jerkbait for my partner and that was all she wrote. Weather was perfect!

Asides - Lots of stuff in the water so be careful running. Leaf litter made fishing several areas difficult. There were a few duck hunters out and we heard plenty of shooting.
