Members lr134 Posted March 21, 2014 Members Posted March 21, 2014 Just got back from fishing Spring River for the first time. Put in at Twin Bridges..about 40-50 trailers in the parking lot when we put in at 1030am..went up the Spring River fishing here and there. almost made it to Hwy 10 bridge before it got too shallow (3-4') and headed back. Slow going all morning and afternoon. Had 3 whites by 430 then the bite turned on and we landed 5 more from 430-600. Lots of boats..everyone had the same story...fish were hard to come by. Cold front they had a couple days ago muddied the water and killed the bite. Heard stories of guys catching 100+ before that front. Real windy today too. Air temp almost 70. Water temp was 51 degrees.
