WHARFRAT Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Nothing like last weekend. Fished from 8 till noon. About 8 fish total. Decent size 10-11" white crappie. One 13" black crappie. Steady aggrevating wind. Chilly too. Fish seem deeper. @lozcrappie
crittermo Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 i went out at late this afternoon at the 5 MM of the north shore. i caight 4 nice ones on a road runner tipped with a crappie nibble but i thought it was pretty slow. i caught them all in deeper water, maybe 6-8 feet. my neighbor said they were up along the bank but i didn't find any shallow. maybe tomorrow, it's supposed to be a nice day, but windy.
Members BCBPII Posted March 30, 2014 Members Posted March 30, 2014 well for my first post after lingering and holding out before posting even after all the drama... I wanted to give a fishing report. Been here since Tuesday. about the 12 mile marker. Warmest water I saw was up the Gravois 46 degrees Friday in Indian Creek. Today spent some time in Stillwater Bay and got the limit of big slab crappie.. Water temp when I left 49. I came down here to bass fish and just could not get on them. I caught several but couldn't put a good pattern together. But the jest of the report is on crappie. they were on the rock banks btw docks, about 8-12 ft, not on the docks, btw the docks in the first or second cut of the main ch. Good fishing.
