Report From Within 1 Mile Of Point 12 For Crappie 4-5-2014

Fished a few hours this afternoon within 1 mile of the point 12 sign for crappie.

Water temp was 56 to 58'degrees.

Further up the white or war eagle water clarity disappears.

Visibility around point 12 is 2 to 3 feet.

Fished stick ups, cedar trees, brush piles and log jams using a 1/16th ounce jig with a red and chanteuse tube, 2 feet beneath a bobber.

Caught fish right off the bank out to about 15 feet deep. Fish were holding tight to cover.
