BATCAB27 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 fishslayer- Im assuming you took that thing home and filleted it up. Is it good? never had any. Im also going to assume you rolled it up in that blue tarp and crammed it in the back of your SUV. That is awesome
Fishslayer88 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Yea I kept it barley fit in the CRV I usually release them or give them away but im going to try smoking this one I threw back a short fish and a 35 lb one today.
navery Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I think the wife and I are headed down for Friday evening. Will be in a tracker deep v. If you see us, feel free to say hi. Love talking fishing with fellow anglers.
Members Jeff Burkhart Posted April 15, 2014 Members Posted April 15, 2014 Me and the boy snagged for 4 hrs last night and never hit a fish. We walked the high trail down from Blunks as far as you could go. Was still blessed with an awesome night on the river. My question how did you get in at McCords. It was all shut down and big STOP sign saying area was closed.. enlighten me because I would love to hook one this year
Fishslayer88 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I don't know how much help this map will be but if you get lost just ask someone. Instead of turning right to go down to the old ramp keep on the main road and go past where it hangs a sharp right then go straight and it will turn to gravel you can follow that all the way to the river.
BATCAB27 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 It's been a couple of years since Ive been down to McCords, but that neighborhood is a little scary if I remember right. I wouldn't be stopping to knock on a door at night but, again, that was a couple years ago
Members Jeff Burkhart Posted April 16, 2014 Members Posted April 16, 2014 Thanks..prob head back over thursday eve..and yeah there was no way I was stopn and knockn on doors last night. Even packn I wouldnt tempt a sleepn dog.lol
navery Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 We went last night and no luck. Motored up past McCord and didn't find anything "stacked up." the only ones I saw on the graph were down by 76 bridge but didn't hook up. It was a nice night on the water anyhow and the scenery is beautiful down there.
