gonna take the boat down monday or tuesday of this week. Cant decide if we should try our luck at whites again, or go after trout. How's the bite on the whites right now and were are they runnin? I have never got on whites and have had pretty crappy luck with them cause we are always early or late. I would like to change this. any advice is greatly appreciated

Monday which is forecast to be cloudy and rainy would be a perfect day to find active feeding Whites about anywhere.

Galena, Forsyth and Beaver Creek, both Sac Rivers, and others that would be a longer drive.

Water temps across the Ozarks should remain stable overnight due to the warm cloudy conditions.

Fish early in the day, and you would have it almost to yourself.

Keep moving and varying your techniques until you find fish that respond to your efforts.

Also keep in mind that smaller, slower and deeper is generally better early in the season, and the hits are not usually hard but sometimes no more that your line stopping.

Good luck and be sure to share your experience.
