Members johnbuoy Posted April 23, 2014 Members Posted April 23, 2014 Been reading for a while first post. Well the storms tomorrow affect the bite tomorrow afternoon or is it a guessing game?
Bird Watcher Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Yes...,er...No...I guess what I'm saying is, maybe..on the other hand, maybe not.
Members johnbuoy Posted April 23, 2014 Author Members Posted April 23, 2014 That's kind of what I figured
Members johnbuoy Posted April 23, 2014 Author Members Posted April 23, 2014 Well I'm gonna try it anyways probably around Roark area
Skeeter ZX190 Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 I would say it depends on how much rain you get and if it muddies up the water. Personally, my experience has been that the 3rd day after a cold front is the toughest.
hknfsh Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 If there is.no cold front associated with this forecast it won't make any difference. May muddy the water up lake....should help raise temps a little too.
Members johnbuoy Posted April 24, 2014 Author Members Posted April 24, 2014 It doesn't look like the temperature is going to drop
Members johnbuoy Posted April 24, 2014 Author Members Posted April 24, 2014 So I don't know if there is cold front this go around but I heard there would be next week
9LB Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Do not think the cold will hurt the bite. EVEN if this bite slows down it will still be AWESOME ! They are biting bare hooks !
dennis boatman Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Ive been fishing the lower lake and NOTHING...mostly between 215 bridge and Mutton Creek... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
