Livewell

I am fishing in a crappie tourney at Stockton this Saturday. I am having trouble with my aerators. I primarily fish for bass and just leave my pump running bringing in fresh water to the fish. I was just curious if I will be able to keep crappie alive doing this since I know crappie are a little more finicky.

i strickly crappie fish and that is what i do with my livewells. mine are on timers i have set to come on every 6 mins to aireate the water and works great when the water temps are cooler like now but in the heat of summer its hard to keep them alive even leaving it on constantly. in the real hot i bring half gallon milk jugs of ice and place in live well when they start going belly up. hope this helps. good luck. stacey
