Members line wetter Posted April 24, 2014 Members Posted April 24, 2014 The last two weeks have gone up to the high point to aldrich area and took limits of crappie three times. Bets bite starts about 5:00pm to dark. Chartruese or white jigs, doesn't seem to make much difference. last week they were on the bank to 3 feet out. Heading up again Friday after work to get another mess. This is fine dinning at its best. I am SO GLAD winter is over. Been mostly males with a few females mixed in. Very few short fish. Most in the 11 1/2 to 12 1/2 range with a few larger. Crappie fishing is great there right now. Maybe this is our reward for putting up with that long cold winter. Fishing a bass tournament at Table Rock next weekend and I hear the bass are going nuts down there, just another reward.
fozzype Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Thanks for the report! I found them from 5-15' last weekend. Hopefully they just keep coming!!! B. Foz

dennis boatman Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I have fished the "lower" end twice this week and caught exactly 0....minnows, jigs, deep, shallow...nothing...good luck... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
