Holy Crappie Fisherman - guess they had 3 tournys going on, there was boats everywhere down around Roark.

In the am before the rain started it was almost every cast we caught one. I threw Green Pumpkin Salamander C rigged and partner had a Craw color Jig.

During the rain the bite was a little tough and then later in the afternoon it really took off. Caught 15 crappies, 5 walleyes and more bass then I kept count. I would say 25 - 30 ??? The Salamander was they key bass bait until the sun came up and then I was using a blue/chrome crankbait shalow runner, I think it was a Norman ? Bass were inside pockets and the first third of points did not catch many all the way back.

Walleyes were caught on Flickr Shad that new gold - clown color man it was catching the crappies too ! I could troll in about 25 foot of water between my lake points and almost always get bit. I cleaned some real nice slabs.

Here comes the cool weather to mess with everything.

Boy I got in the cove south of the south campground at Hawkers and I could see 18 foot to the bottom. I could see the BB on my C rig the entire way. Do not remember that kind of clarity.
