Members jaybassjay Posted May 3, 2014 Members Posted May 3, 2014 Fishing a tourney out of crabtree cove wondering if anyone had any info. My truck broke down on the way down and didnt get to go out and prefish at all. Any help would be appreciated!
fozzype Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Literally you can catch them from 2-25 feet. They are staging to on the bank. Pea gravel or hard bottom near by is key. I caught fish on the bluffs to the very back of the coves. I have caught them on green pumpkin jigs, tubes, craws, centipedes, grubs, and wiggle warts. A few spinner bait and jerkbait fish as well. Not catching very many big fish but wading through 150 short fish is fun. Sorry to not be specific but fish are very scattered and not very picky right now. B. Foz
