Report From Sugarloaf Area

Great morning on the lake today. We fished from around 7A.M. to 10:30A.M. with pretty good largemouth action. Fished mostly in East Sugarloaf in the bushes on both sides of the creek. The bite was shallow to around 6 feet. Water temperature 67 to 69 and really clear. Boated lots of fish with 8 to 10 good solid Keepers which are still swimming. Pix is my wife and fishing partner and boat launcher with a two and a half pounder. One of highlights of the morning was watching as an eagle swooped down and caught a fish about 40 yards from the boat....

It's amazing to me how those eagles swope down and get those fish when I been trying all day to get one LOL
