Members crappie cowboy Posted May 23, 2014 Members Posted May 23, 2014 Hey I moved here about 3 years ago from Grenada Lake, Ms. I love crappie fishing, and miss those big Ms. crappie. I haven't done much fishing at all here. The water is so clear they spook very easy, so I kinda gave up fishing here, but I do go back to Grenada lake and fish quite a bit. I'd be glad to swap trips with someone on Norfork that knows the crappie holes, if they would like to fish Grenada, Enid, or Sardis Lake, Ms. Best times to fish the Ms. lakes would be the spawn late March, and first two weeks of April....The Fall, Oct. and on into Dec. I don't take the heat very well at all, so would like to avoid summer months, but I'm game for all the other times. I'll furnish everything except your license, lodging, eats. I don't have a big fancy boat, just a 17.5 pro crappie bass tracker, but it is set up for spider rigging and trolling,,,good set up and catches a lot of big slab crappie. Thanks for reading....
LittleRedFisherman Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Welcome to the Forum! My family has went to Hardy at our place there since the 60's, that area is very special to me! You live in trout and smallmouth heaven right there, you ever try to fish for them? There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
