Sunday I fished the Hwy 12 island area and managed to put 2 16" LM and 2 13" spots, and 2 11" crappie and 1 decent white in the boat. Water temps were approximately 73 in the areas I fished. Bite was slow for me till the wind picked up a little, then it got much better.

Monday I could not get a bite anywhere until the wind came up. Mostly fished around the Beaver shores area. I managed to get 2 14" walleyes, 3-keeper spots, and 6 tiny crappie(as in too small to keep). Water temps were 74-75.

I fished both days from 630-1pm.

I do agree the wind seems to be your friend on Beaver!!!
