Hey guys I'm looking to build my LIR fly box and was just wonder what your go to flies for the river are? I'd like to tie about 10 of each and thanks in advance.

Go to riverrunoutfitters.com and look for the midge link. Some of those work decent on the Lir. Copper dun is one I use as well as the p&p. Black zebra with silver, black zebra with copper. Olive flash and red flash midge. Olive is always good, put some flash in it and tie some buggers.

What JCW said. Also, Pheasant tails, Hares Ear, San Juan worms. I've had days where they never keyed in on anything and I had to keep changing flies to catch fish. So, be prepared. Check out the aquatic bugs under the rocks and hatching. Matching that stuff will always get some fish.
