How's the cat bite by Aldrich?

I havent been to aldrich lately but went to ruark on h bridge thursday and had one about 10lbs. going tonight for a while hopefully its better than thursday.

I will do the same. used shrimp thursday and left it in the back of my truck so it ought to make some good bait. good luck

Well I hope for your sake slow yesterday means good today. Went up to Aldrich and had the slowest night since we found out about the place. Normally if we can't catch any cats we can switch to crappie or at the very least catch some bluegill. But yesterday we got there about 6:30 loaded up with livers, hot dogs, shiners, and worms and couldn't find a bite to save our lives. Finally gave up around 10:30. Fortunately it was very quiet out there and the sunset was beautiful, still an awesome time just not much going on in the way of fishing.

I'm afraid all the crappie are deep and cats are gettin close to bein done

Crappie are all over. I've caught them on the bank and all the way out in 30fow trolling in the last week. cats may be close to post spawn in river but lake side is still early. post spawn is the best fishing drifting shiners on flats at aldrich through sept.

Me and my buddy are gonna be goin up to Coffmans branch/Aldrich gonna fish from probably 7:30 into the night. Usin minnows for crappie, what would you use right now for cats?

I've never really catfished a lot. Mainly crappie. So I'm kinda new to catfishin
