Fishing Table Rock In Early July.

Hey guys! St. Louisan here who will be heading down to Hollister for some R&R the week of July 4^th. We will be staying at Emerald Pointe. Do they have a decent cove? I’ll be bringing an assortment of stuff; senkos, grubs, topwaters, centipedes, doctors, crawfish, and so on. Is anything particularly effective in that area?

Look back in the archives for reports from last July and you will find a wealth of info. The Table Rock forum has some of the best info on this site. Follow it daily leading up to your trip and you will know exactly what's going on. Topwater, Drop Shot, Spoon, Ned Rig and Football Jig should be a good starting place. This is a funky year though, so you may be able to catch them on normal June patterns as opposed to July patterns. The guys on this area of the forum are extremely knowledgable so just keep checking daily and pay attention to their details.

I've stayed there that time of year...You can find some drop shot fish without wandering too far, including the docks in the cove
