Put in about 6:15 and headed to the dam. First cast in with a senko and had a 11 inch LM on. Such was the story the whole day. We probably caught 20 bass all on senkos most of which were 11 iches. Had 4 that went 12. 1 bluegill that was hand size caught on a cricket the rest were tiny. Got off just as the rain started coming down. Overall one of my better days at Busch. Fish were biting the whole time. Nothing huge but i dont really expect that much fishing here.

nice job!

About the time you don't expect much, then WAM! You'll tie into a nice one. Keep ya going back for more.

Kind of like Golf. Shoot horrible 95% of the time, but you'll always have a couple of remarkable shots, that keeps you coming back!

We got out to 35 on monday afternoon before the storms rolled in. The lake seems to be in good condition with clearer water and plenty of shad. We ended up with 16 small bass, 2 crappies and lost a muskie at the boat. I'd say 90% of the fish we caught were in 16+ feet of water with no cover or structure in sight.

How big of a muskie?

It was little. Maybe 30 inches. Has anyone had any luck at other lakes? I spent a couple days on 33 and it kicked my butt with the exception of a couple dinks

About a week ago a friend said the big gills were active. He had a pic on his phone of one OVER 13". She was a fatty! I don't think it was any of the ponds in Busch. But it was somewhere in Weldon Springs. But he did say that he and is nephew were catching som nice ones in Busch. All were caught on curly tail grubs.
