If u haven't fished it u should no matter your boat size.. I fished out of a 15.5 bass tracker with a 25hp motor... Was a the smallest rig there weighed in 4 and beat nine other teams.... the fish don't know or care what UR fishing out of.. Come out fish and have a good time with a REALLY good tournament!!

What are the regulations as far as boat/motor sizes? I have all the confidence in the world to tournament fish, but just don't have a big bass boat (YET)!!

I would love to see a tournament where aluminum boats with 25hp or bigger were allowed! My dad used to use a huge igloo cooler rigged with an aerator for his livewell. But as the years went on, most tournaments seemed like they only allowed 40hp or bigger to fish in them.

I looked through the rules again and there are no regulations on boat size. Now as far as aerators, i've never had that question. I will talk to the guy running it with me and let you know what he says. I don't see an issue as long as you can keep the fish alive. I believe in 3 tournaments so far, we've only lost 2-3 fish amongst all the teams

That would be great smbasser. I could easily rig a good "livewell" to keep bass alive. Hopefully everyone could refrain from snickering when I launch my v bottom! Also, that's a good survival rate on those fish. I hate to see good bass go belly up. They aren't the best tasting fish in the lake, but its a shame to see them floating in the water after a tournament. I think with a lot of corn meal and hot grease they'd probably be ok! Thanks for being helpful.

There is no motor limitation and as long as you have some form of an aerator, it's good. That could be a big cooler with a couple stone aerators inside (battery operated ones). Just want to make sure the fish will survive
