Danoinark Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I was digging through some gear and ran across a Climax fly line that is called a Floating Double/Double Taper DT 5/6 F In essence its a 5wt on one end and a 6wt on the other. Most DT lines are of one weight. On the back of the box it says "it's a double taper with each end having a different AFTMA rated line size. Could be used with rods with two line ratings, or for fine tuning rods. Both ends are looped with a different color to distinguish between the other". I have never seen one of these before. A friend gave it to me a few years ago. Its a mid blue color an it just says vintage reel and glass rod all over it. Anyone ever see one of these before.
