I'm wondering how much success you all have had in the deep pool below the dam. Specifically, before it starts to narrow down some. I've done well on numerous occasion in the section after the stream narrows down, but have rarely caught a fish in the deepest part that is directly below the dam. What kind of success have you all had and on what techniques?

marabou jigs always get me fish there. Best one there yet was a 19" brown.

It's been years but finding a eddy near the falls with a high line and fast sinking egg, mini jig, and such has proven effective for me in the past.

Generally drifting something away from the apron will work if it's running deep enough.

FYI that's the Apron Hole.
