Went to fellows last sunday to fish for crappie with my father in law, caught a mix bag of whites walleye and several nice crappie. Crappie were on brush in 20' to 24' of water, caught them on minnows and some on jigs. Went out this morning to go after the crappie one last time before I put the boat to bed until spring and had some luck again, caught crappie on the same piles with a mix of bobby garland baby shad and tube jigs, bit is very light and had to fish pretty well vertical just letting the wind drift the boat around the pile. Water temp both last sunday and today was 62 to 64 degrees. Going to be a nice weekend and the water temp is still good, get out and get some this weekend before it turns off cold!!!
