Has anyone been out to Busch and seen the November stocking yet? Curious to know if that's happened considering November 1 fell on a Saturday.

They havent stocked any lakes yet

Should be stocked sometime this week...they have stocked a few lakes around STL today, but not sure if Busch was on that list

Hotline is only reporting channel catfish as of now.

Hotline is updated to include trout now. Busch lake 21, Walker, Tillis, jefferson and one of lake i cant remember or have heard of were stocked today. Going to chance the rain tomorrow if not definitely wednesday

I watched the trout being stocked this morning at Jefferson. Very cool. Caught a lot of fish there in a short period of time. Later on I hit tilles where I also caught some fish, but the lake is very muddy right now and it's making the fishing slower than it should be. Overall a very fun day

Any tout left? I'm taking my son out to Lake 21 or 28 this afternoon, see what happens.

There will always be some left over especially this year with all the ice keeping some of the pressure off. I've caught them while bass fishing as late as May. Whether they will play or not......?

No, they didn't play for us. 1 bluegill and a few spring peepers by hand by my son, all released unharmed. Saw a few on stringers but didn't see any caught while we were there. Nice day to get out. I caught a brown one year in May in 28 as well, but anywho, guess we will try again when we head to Montauk later this year.

FYI - Was out to L-28 late on Friday afternoon (3-20). Not a nibble for the couple hours I spent. Met two guys leaving that caught a couple trout with fly rods. That was pretty impressive at this time of year on L-28. Most of the trout have been caught but there is always enough stragglers left over that's worth the effort. Busch is rather close for me so its always good to get in some fishing, good or bad.
