Kings River Nov. 10 Night

dediced on one more night outing, and given the wind forecast, which did not happen, decided to try the kings. not too bad of an outing. 6 keepers with three of those in the 3 to 3 1/2 range.

caught everything on a bluff 15 to 20 ft. deep. with the bass being this deep at night explains why the daytime shallow bite is not there.

started out catching them on a 1/2 oz. Blitz football jig, but before we quit, they seemed to change and go for a 3/8 oz. NuJig.

we did try a blade also, but not one bass. the water temp was 61.

Merc...did you put in at Sweet Water? Saw somone leave there about dark and since there were not many on the water after dark I assume it may have been you.

we put in just before dark. i put on a welders helmet to fish during the day.

no, the welders helmet for daytime fishing is to make it look dark, and then i can catch them .

Not a bad evening at all. Might be a little cold for night fishing at least for the foreseeable future.
