merc1997 Bo Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 dediced on one more night outing, and given the wind forecast, which did not happen, decided to try the kings. not too bad of an outing. 6 keepers with three of those in the 3 to 3 1/2 range. caught everything on a bluff 15 to 20 ft. deep. with the bass being this deep at night explains why the daytime shallow bite is not there. started out catching them on a 1/2 oz. Blitz football jig, but before we quit, they seemed to change and go for a 3/8 oz. NuJig. we did try a blade also, but not one bass. the water temp was 61. bo

merc1997 Bo Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 no, the welders helmet for daytime fishing is to make it look dark, and then i can catch them . bo
champ187xr6 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Not a bad evening at all. Might be a little cold for night fishing at least for the foreseeable future.
