Aggressor1988long Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Was wondering if anyone has encountered fishing line in there trailer wheel bearings from the boat ramp at fellows? Found it all around the boat launch so now I'm replacing my bearings and seals, now I know why my dad taught me at an early age to discard my line in the trash. So all you guys who launch there take a close look at your axles on your trailers.

The good news is that most of the time you are the only one launching a boat, so a few extra seconds could definitely pay dividends in the long run. There are a lot of bank fisher-folk that may leave it behind, but also a lot that may toss it from the boat. It's when you have to take your prop off and unwind braid that someone left in the water that will really urk you. Not that I know anything about that...
Aggressor1988long Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 I will definitely do that now, but at least it's a cheap fix and a lesson learned
