Some may know I do freelance writing, but my "day job" is HVAC work at Drury.

We worked all week trying to get the place back to normal. I wound up sick as a dog w/high fever, so I'm at home today sitting by the fire.

I took about 200 pictures, but even the good ones don't convey the amount of damage.

I overheard a comment from an office neighbor on the phone that if you take away the ice and discount houses still standing, Springfield looked like New Orleans after Katrina. (This guy was in NO just after Katrina, BTW...)

Those pictures validate his statement.

Any chance it leveled the Breech building? I know we've been trying to find a way to get a new business school, but you can't burn a building that's 90% cinder blocks.

Funny you mention it, but Breech suffered a direct hit by a large tree, punched a hole in part of the roof, caused water damage, but the building still stands.
