Is going to be a good day. Is 18* outside so to cold to get out. BUT Bass Master Classic final day, if you can't be there this internet coverage is great, and the Daytona 500, with no Busch brothers. I have been to Bass Pro and Rogers sporting goods so have a couple big bags of new stuff to play with and a new rod and reel to rub on. Great home made pizza for lunch and BBQ ribs later. I may not even get dressed today. Kids stay home. HA.

I got a new BPS Carbonlite rod, 6'9" ML F, and a Shimano spinning reel. I have been talking to Quillback and dtrs5kprs. They have me all hyped up on the Ned Rig. Never tried it so I ordered some of Daves Ned Rig jigs and picked up some Zman TRD baits. I'm ready to go....just waiting the weather.

I like the carbonlite rods for the money. I have the 6'8 M XF. I've never fished the NED rig but it i know its a big favorite around here so maybe ill have to give it a go. I have a 6'9 ML veritas i may have dust it off and try it this spring.
