Why run when you don't have to??

I've been to Wyoming and been chased by a cow moose. We got away, but, could've used running shoes then.

Mark - I can think of several reasons to stay run ready.

Standing in the stream, you and a few buddies just realized there's only 1 beer left in the cooler.

You're 100 yds from the porta potty and waited till the last minute to exit the water. In less than 2 mins bad things are going to happen. *It's a race if 2 guys have to go! (nah, that never happens)

I've seen a few races at Cow Shoals...or fast walking, lol.

You told your wife you'd be home at dark...and...you know the rest.

I've run out of a lightening storm a time or 5!

You almost got killed by a cow moose. Thx Redbird, I'll keep an eye out for them.
