bferg Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Anyone follow The Classic at Hartwell? Casey Ashley won throwing a fluke with an underspin. He was letting it sink and SLOW rolling it along the bottom when he found schools of blue herring. It seems like Hartwell has some similar characteristics to Beaver. That is something I would never have considered but seems like it would work well here for a lot of species...Anyone of you guys use an underspin here much?
Members showmebass Posted March 7, 2015 Members Posted March 7, 2015 I haven't, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I've had some really good days on Beaver using a Scrounger head with a Fluke. It seems like every year some pro wins a tournament on a lure that makes me think, "Why didn't I think of that?".
