Rodmaker Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I have been researching new locaters and have decided to go with a lowrance elite 7 chirp on the helm and a elite 5 chirp on the bow. I can buy this unit with navonics gold included with the package. I know there are other map cards available for the lowrance. Should I go with the navonics or save my money and go with one of the other maps? I've never had a locater with map capabilities so I am a little confused. I am excited to get this new unit and try it out, but I want to make the right decision. I am confident I am in the right place to get an answer. All the knowledge all you folks contribute to this forum is incredible. Thanks in advance. Bob.
