whites at blunks this weekend??

White are on down south at haskins.. do you guys think they will any at blunks this weekend?? Any reports is much appreciated. And I will share my info on down south I just live closer to galana.

No about two weeks they are just starting way down river most guys told me they are staging, 2 more weeks tops.

Fished below blunks this evening and caught a few dinks. I bet you could get on some around walnut springs.

I fished out of my canoe last night and did ok and again this morning but they were pretty tight lipped. Im gonna go again this evening if it warms up a bit.

Just fished galena area for the first time last year, is the blunks what you call the area at the end of blunk rd?

What is the name of the gravel bar up from that? Where u have to go through some tight trails.

Yes the ramp and parking area at the end of Blunk road is what everyone refers to as Blunks. The gravel bar at the end of blunk trails is Taylor Shoal.

The bite was pretty much non existent this evening lots of boats between Blunk and McCord and no one was catching.

Yeah but they are all above the fish right now.

Camp Harlow (Shoals Motel) and the old Y bridge in galena. You should be able to get some around Blunks this weekend. I would head down river from the ramp to the bluffs theres a trail in the corner of the upper parkinglot that runs along the river.
