Members Curtlow Posted April 8, 2015 Members Posted April 8, 2015 Took my dad fishing this evening. Put in at CC, ran up and fished a cove by shaw bluff. Dad was using minnows, I was using jigs. Nothing. Ran up to Birch Branch, fished pretty much all that. Nothing. Ran back to same cove by shaw bluff since it was warmer water, although muddier, and caught 2 crappie. Pretty slow day for us too.
Members redtickstreed Posted April 8, 2015 Author Members Posted April 8, 2015 Finally caught a few switched over to a mini zara spook and caught about 30 or so bass 6-10 inches long lol. I add a split shot and ran it along the pea gravel banks. It turned into who can catch the smallest fish contest. I lost that too lol
