Members JarheadFisherman0311 Posted April 9, 2015 Members Posted April 9, 2015 I am fishing a Bass Tournament on Stockton Lake on Saturday, 4/11. I've fished tournaments on Stockton for a while now, just never in April. How is the water clarity by the dam? Are there any bedding fish yet? Is there a good jig bite right now? ANY INFO would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Bassmaster21 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I fished up by the dam last weekend and caught about 8 bass from sunrise to noon all on jigs and an a rig. only three were keepers though. Water was 45 when I launched but was 52 by the time I left JarheadFisherman0311 1
Members Big Oak Posted April 10, 2015 Members Posted April 10, 2015 The cc area will produce a good sack water temps are at 60 there and we caught several in 3 feet of water or less. It's diry so u won't be able to sight fish but they can't see u either ?. We also caught a smaller limit in under an hour at cedar ridge. Jig and square bill.
