I am watching the release data for the lake and it shows they are releasing 5000 cfs from the flood gates to try to get the lake back down to roughly 632'.

I was hoping to go fishing on Monday because there is not generation scheduled. Is that 5000 cfs going to mess up my trip. I don't have enough experience there to know what that amount of water will look like.

I plan on taking my kayak and moving up and down stream from Watts area and then wade fishing.

Thanks for any help,

John Proctor

Don't go, too unsafe. It is over 7000 now. If you had a bigger boat with a motor maybe but there wont be any wade fishing.

Thanks. Getting everything to line up is tough. I will keep watching it. I don't want to go unless I can paddle up and down stream and get out and wade.

This is the time of year where the fishing usually gets messed up from a lot of rain. Lot of water goes in and they let it out. Ive been too busy to fish but am hoping to get to the Roaring river in Missouri this week.
