Greg Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 There's a nice article on the norfork tailwater in the Jan/Feb edition of Eastern Flyfishing. That's not a magazine I normally read but this article was pretty well done so I picked it up. Terry Beeson Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Will have to pick it up. Until then, was it a positive article on the fishing or was it a tale of the woes caused by Overlook Mistakes... (Estates) ? TIGHT LINES, YA'LL "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
Greg Posted January 27, 2007 Author Posted January 27, 2007 Definitely a positive article. The article discussed the history of the norfork tailwater and of trout fishing in Arkansas in general. Also the author went fishing with a guide - John Wilson I think it was? Nothing mentioned about the Overlook issues at all. I had kind of forgotten about that. I wonder if the situation has gotten better? I've only been to the Norfork once (last year). I really enjoyed it.
