J-Doc Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Not I. I found a few yesterday but they would short strike my jigs. Wind was so bad, I struggled to stay on the spot. Was out of time and didn't have time to figure them out. I bet live bait could have helped. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! Guest Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Mid lake Boat docks in spawning areas 15-25ft deep, hanging around brushpiles. We had a 2lber pull off at the boat today. That fish hammers a Ned as I was reeling in fast to make another cast. Crushed it. They're hanging out around docks with spawning threadfin shad. Find the shad & you've found the big crappie & short walleyes.
J-Doc Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I've had a bass hammer one as I was reeling in the Ned to make another cast. Hammer is the term too. I think it was watching it and didn't like it leaving. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks.
