Hammer time Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Put in at 7 and was shocked water temp 77.12 pleasure boats and jet skis buzzing around everywhere. Decided to head to point 5 area to avoid traffic a maybe find some cooler water. Started on main lake points temp 75.70 with football jig not a sniff for first hour, I knew It was gonna be tuff. Hit a old reliable point last half hour of daylight a caught 3 short brownies and 1 keeper after a long dry spell, was just happy to get bit. Switched over to black purple 1/2 oz fb jig with black 5in twin tail grub and motored to point 1 area for night bite. Wind completely died, hit mainlake channel banks not a bite. Switched to deep mainlake pockets and finally got bit short brownie but got some confidence. Ended up boating 5 more with 3 keeps on same pattern and loaded up at midnight. The Rock can be a tuff nut to crack sometimes but I love the challenge. Tight lines. bg_bass_hunter 1
Jason Essary Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Hammer. I was around millcreek last night from 6 till 2am. It was rough. Ended the night with 4 keepers. 3 of which were good quality but only caught one short. 5 fish in 8 hrs. bg_bass_hunter 1 Essary Construction - Honest work for honest price Custom Construction and Remodeling Call for free quotes (417)338-6418 http://essarycustomhomes.com/
