flyfshn Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Taneycomo report: Friday, May 29th, 2015: Accompanied by the trout legend, Phil Lilley, we were twice blessed with a great late morning of fishing. With a full open dam feeding the lake, and sporadic rain and thunderstorms, we opted to drift fish using weighted scud, and Duane Doty trout egg combo. The strikes were often and fun. We each, in an hours time, caught 3- 7 rainbows. The heavy rain had caused a mud-slide, just 1/4 mile from the dam, down to Fall Creek. Even so, the hits on red San Juan worms and egg pattern produced hits and landed the trout. Great day, and thanks to Phil, another fun Taneycomo adventure. Fish On!
