Blll Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Well my second season at Beaver is sure different than last year. Will the COE keep the water level up to prevent a summer drawdown when all the A/C's start up? Waist deep water now to get to my slip and wondering what to expect. I've looked at the past graphs but don't know if they went down from lack of rain or if the COE brought it down. Just wondering.
JohnF52 Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 COE will bring it down to about 1121 with heavy generation demand from SW Power Administration as soon as conditions permit. Depends on future rainfall.
sfiser Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I am hearing it may take into July before they bring beaver down. They are going to take it down a foot or 2 so they have some capacity if we get another rain then hold it. Bull shoals needs to drain its water before Beaver can drain all thiers. Right now the downstream flooding on the lower white is preventing Bull from dumping heavily. Historically, Beaver is the last of the lakes in the chain to drain.
